About Miranda

I've been a professionally trained Independent Celebrant for 12 + years. I trained with The Fellowship of Professional Celebrants. More recently I won National Celebrant of the Year 2023 at the TWIA Awards!

A lover of life and laughter, I enjoy working with couples and families who want a one-of-a-kind, unique ceremony. I love going the extra mile to create an enchanting ceremony that will kick-off your celebrations on a high note!

I became a celebrant because I recognise the value of honouring and celebrating the rites of passage that form the rich tapestry of our lives and wanted to use my creative skills in an imaginative way. Frankly, I love celebrating love!

I also work as a leadership coach with individuals and workplaces who strive to live, lead and grow using Freedom at Work™ and I'm a Mentor with The Academy of Modern Celebrancy.

My husband and I love to travel and over the years I've lived in Mexico, Bolivia, the USA, Austria and France. When not travelling you’ll probably find me with my head in a book, writing or entertaining family and friends. I'm also a wild swimming fan.

Sometimes I am available to conduct ceremonies in France - specifically the Dordogne region - where we spend time at our family home.

My work as a celebrant is such a gift - it’s uplifting, joyous, full of unconditional love and laughter…lots of laughter!

What kind of ceremonies do you create?

I offer a wide range of ceremonies, beyond weddings, vow renewals, namings, funerals, and celebrations of life. I believe it's important to create space to honour all of life’s milestones in a way that feels right for you.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of conducting Adult Re-Namings, Transition Ceremonies, Commitment Ceremonies, Coming of Age celebrations, Healing Circles, Corporate Re-Namings, and so much more.

If you have an idea and would like to discuss a ceremony to mark a special occasion, do get in touch!

I’m always excited to collaborate on creating something truly unique and meaningful.
