A Tuscan Inspired Wedding Ceremony in the Surrey Hills (inc. video)

The sun came out right on queue for today’s wedding ceremony at Millbridge Court in Frensham.

I have loved every moment of working with R+G as they have turned around their wedding plans and organised today in a matter of weeks.

There are some weddings that you just know you have to do. While still going through a tremendously difficult couple of years, today was an opportunity for them to pause and declare their love in front of their nearest and dearest.

I love it when couples decide to challenge themselves and write their own vows. For these two it was as if the words they wanted to say to each other just flowed. Such beautiful words and affirmations to each other which were delivered with poise, strength, and courage. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house – even I struggled to hold it together!

Whatever life brings I know that this rock solid couple will be there to support each other through thick and thin.

They are also huge travel fans and wherever they go, it is always full of adventure!

I am in awe of the love that this couple share, and it has been an honour to be their Celebrant.

And so draws to a close my summer season. It has been way busier than usual and a test of stamina but I wouldn’t want it any other way. It’s been great to collaborate with so many passionate suppliers who have bought our industry back from the brink and I can’t wait for more next year. I still have a few ceremonies to do over the winter but I’m looking forward to turning my attention to some new creative endeavours over the next few months.
