Miranda the Celebrant is run by me - Miranda Ash - an independent celebrant based near Winchester in Hampshire. I write and deliver weddings, vow renewals, commitment ceremonies, elopements, funerals, celebrations of life and naming ceremonies across the UK and around the world.

I’ve been a celebrant for 13 years, which means I bring a huge amount of experience, confidence and calm to every ceremony I create. As an Independent Celebrant, I’m able to work with people who want a completely non-religious ceremony, those who wish to include elements of faith, and those looking for a thoughtful blend of beliefs, cultures and traditions.

I’m known for creating ceremonies that are authentic, personal, unique and genuinely fun. I work just as happily with people who want something alternative and non-traditional as I do with those who don’t - there’s no “right” way to do a ceremony!

Alongside my celebrant work, I’m also a Mentor and Coach with The Academy of Modern Celebrancy, where I support and train new celebrants entering the industry. Over the years, I’ve mentored hundreds of celebrants and regularly speak on topics related to modern celebrancy. I’m also the host and coach for the wildly successful Celebrant Success Accelerator.

I’m also an advocate for marriage reform in the UK and frequently contribute to industry conversations around inclusivity, professionalism and the future of ceremonies.
