When Anna and Rob got in touch a short 4 weeks ago, they had just taken on the task of moving their wedding from Italy to the UK (due to travel restrictions etc). How they organised such a beautiful wedding in such a short time is beyond me. It was BEAUTIFUL!

Anna and Rob chose High Billinghurst Farm for their wedding venue – who in turn kindly recommended me! Next they came down to my home in Hampshire and spent an afternoon curled up on our sofa together with Ronnie the cat while we discussed their love story and their hopes and dreams for the future.

Like far too many, Anna and Rob had been through a very tough time of late and they wanted their wedding to herald a new adventure and a time to celebrate rather than mourn.

In the end, their ceremony could not have been better! The balmy weather felt like we were in Italy!

Their wedding ceremony took place at the end of the world’s longest aisle which meandered down through a meadow to a HUGE oak tree. It made for some stunning photos by the fabulous Jonny MP Photography.

After sharing their story, they exchanged personal vows and enjoyed two readings – one of which had been specially written for the day by Anna’s lovely sister, Laura!

Lots of laughter and lots of tears – the perfect ceremony! Afterwards guests meandered back up to the courtyard for bubbly before enjoying a fantastic evening together.

Anna and Rob, it was a joy and an honour to be able to be a part of your day. SO glad you were finally able to celebrate your marriage and thanks for ordering the fantastic weather! I will admit I had an ugly cry in the car on the way home!

“We were recommended Miranda’s celebrant services by our venue, High Billinghurst Farm. We had originally planned to do a wedding in Italy, but travel restrictions meant this was no longer a viable option. It meant we had to plan this wedding in four weeks!

It was a daunting task, but we can absolutely say that having Miranda on our ‘team’ meant that it made it a little less daunting. We travelled to her lovely home to meet with her, and we instantly felt she was the right person for the job. Those first impressions were correct, and she was a pleasure to work with throughout the process.

The ceremony on the day was beautiful and we were blessed with sunshine. Both in terms of the weather and in terms of Miranda’s ceremony. The words she put together and the assistance she provided in making sure our vows and readings were memorable was amazing.
We would have no hesitation in recommending Miranda to family or friends as she provided a top-notch service. Thank you, Miranda!”
