Whether you have a clear vision of your day or you need some inspiration, I'll be your guide through the entire process from design to the ceremony! I love getting to know people, their story and what makes them so uniquely special. To do this, I may ask you to complete a short questionnaire and then we'll have a chat. These are important pieces that will help me to craft a memorable ceremony.
All the wedding and vow renewal ceremonies I produce are highly personalised and written to reflect who you are whether you're looking for an alternative wedding or something a little classic.
I love taking the time to get to know you to ensure that your bespoke ceremony exceeds your expectations…and surprises and delights your guests too! People often tell me that by the time it gets to the ceremony it feels like you're being supported by an old friend!
I’m a joyous and fun celebrant with a passion for telling your story, YOUR WAY! I work with couples, families and friends to co-create unique ceremonies that will kick off your celebrations in style.
That said, if you’re looking for an off-the-shelf, perfunctory ceremony or not ready to take the time to invest in your ceremony, then I’m probably not the celebrant for you!
There is no limit to what you can do for your bespoke celebrant-led wedding, commitment ceremony or renewal of vows. From the more traditional to the quirky, your ceremony will be tailored to you and incorporate your story, your hopes, and your dreams. I'll work with you to create a ceremony reflecting both your personalities and shared love for each other. Perhaps you want to include some symbolic elements such as a Handfasting, Wine Ceremony, Ring Warming, Jumping the Broom or something even more creative and personal to you.
I'm equally at home writing ceremonies that honour your beliefs or those who prefer a non-religious approach.
Your ceremony can take place wherever and whenever you wish without restrictions. While there are traditional venues, over the years I've conducted ceremonies in French Chateau's, restaurants, barns, gardens, fields, farms, boats, the beach and in the intimacy of a couple's living room!
Each ceremony takes 20-30 joy-filled hours of research, writing, meetings and preparation before the big day. I write each script from scratch based upon our conversations and your quiz responses. There won't be any formulaic wording. Every element of your ceremony is well thought through to reflect YOU!
Here's how we'll create your unique ceremony!
- Face to face consultation meeting + questionnaires
- Choose formats, check legalities, book date and venue
- Venue visit (if necessary)
- Select Readings, Music and Symbolic Elements
- Write draft of your ceremony and amend as necessary
- Write your vows (with or without my help!)
- Liase with suppliers involved in the ceremony
- Final client sign off and logistics call
- Rehearsal (optional extra)
- The BIG Day!
What is included in my fee:
- Initial Consultation
- Couple’s Questionnaires
- Access to poems and readings resources
- Your unique and individually crafted ceremony script
- All drafts and revisions
- Optional Vow Writing Guide and VowPOWer Hour Workshop to help you write your vows
- Unlimited contact throughout process
- Creation of personalised Vow Booklets for you to use in the ceremony and as a keepsake
- Advice on planning the legal aspects of your marriage
- Advice on venue planning, music, timing and photography
- Liaising with your suppliers to ensure we are all aligned
- Officiating your ceremony on the day
- A presentation copy of your ceremony script
- Travel within 15 miles of Barton Stacey, Hampshire (additional miles are charged at 45p per mile)

Fees for Weddings and Vow Renewals start at £1,200
Additional costs:
Assistance with writing and editing speeches for the reception starting at £200.
MC services to help with organising and orchestrating photos, announcements and support up until after the first dance starting at £400.
Any additional props such as Handfasting ribbons, candles or a commemorative certificate for signing etc will be charged at cost.
I also offer a script-only service for those who want a friend of family member to perform the ceremony but need support with writing. Contact me for further details.
Terms:
A booking fee of 50% of the total fee is payable to confirm your booking. The remaining balance is due 12 weeks prior to your ceremony or on production of the final script (whichever is sooner).
Ceremonies booked within 12 weeks of delivery require full payment at the time of booking.
All fees are non-refundable.
